MOE moves Outram Secondary to Sengkang and Kranji Primary to Tengah
The Ministry of Education will move Kranji Primary School, currently located in Chua Chu Kang, to Tengah in 2028. Outram Secondary School will be relocated from York Hill in Sengkang by 2026. According to a press release dated Jan 16, this is to respond to changing demand for kindergarten and school places.

Kranji Primary School will open in 2026, following Pioneer Primary School. Anglo-Chinese Primary School will be joining them in 2030.
After moving from Chua Chu Kang, MK@Kranji is a MOE Kindergarten (MK) that will be sharing the same site as Kranji Primary.
Kranji Primary and MK@Kranji, in order to facilitate the relocation of students, will cease accepting Primary 1 and kindergarten 1 students by 2025. They will continue operating until all existing students have graduated. Kranji Primary will close by the end of 2029. MK@Kranji is expected to remain open until the end of 2025.

Outram Secondary School is moving from York Hill to Sengkang. In order to minimize disruption for students, Outram Secondary School will not admit new Secondary 1 pupils in 2025. Instead, it will accept new Secondary 1 pupils at its Sengkang Campus from 2026. The school will continue to operate two campuses up until 2027 when the last Secondary 4 class graduates.
A new primary school in Tampines will be built with an MK. The school is scheduled to open in 2029. Details will be announced at a later time.
A new kindergarten is planned to open at Bukit Batok Primary School’s new campus, Bukit Batok west. It will open in 2028.
MOE reviews its school and MK placement plans regularly to ensure that it can better meet the changing demand in Singapore for preschool and school places.
