CDL ranked most sustainable real estate firm in the world

City Developments Limited, a Singapore-listed real estate group, has been ranked number 22 on the list of the 100 most sustainable corporations in the world for 2024. It’s the first Singaporean company to have been included in the Global 100 for 15 consecutive year.

CDL the most sustainable company in Singapore, and has been for six consecutive years. CDL’s ranking jumped from 28th place to 22nd position after improvements in areas like energy, greenhouse gases and water productivity.

Global 100, an index of sustainability equity that has high reputation and is considered the gold standard for corporate sustainability.

Corporate Knights, analysed the ranking based on more than 6,700 companies that had revenues exceeding US$1 billion.

The ranking was based on publicly available data comparing each company to its peers based upon a set 25 ESG indicators.
